Spotlight 101-rated hurdler won 3m Punchestown handicap last term on heavy and good second at Leopardstown; straight into handicap company for last month's chase debut (after 196-day absence), faring well when only losing second close home over 2m6f at Galway (soft); should be thereabouts.

Spotlight 0-14 under Rules but has shown a bit more promise over fences, most recently (after 106-day break) when staying on third in 2m4f Wexford beginners last month; acts on heavy ground so one to consider.

Spotlight 102-rated hurdler won over 3m at Punchestown in May and couple of solid runs since at Wexford; should prove equally as effective a chaser and one for the shortlist.

Spotlight Reappeared from 139-day break to get off the mark over hurdles at sixth attempt when making all in 2m5f Sligo handicap last month (back with original trainer); bred to make a better chaser so one to consider.

Spotlight 97-rated maiden hurdler finished second in 2m handicaps over the summer both here and at Wexford; recent Punchestown effort was okay but doesn't appear the type to make an immediate impact chasing.

Spotlight Placed in Punchestown maiden hurdle on debut in June 2023 before winning a point-to-point last season; not at same level back hurdling and two chase runs leave her with plenty to find.

Spotlight 102-rated maiden hurdler showed initial promise but didn't progress; improvement on chase debut when a clear second over 3m at Killarney last month but unable to back that up at Gowran, having been made plenty of use of in first-time cheekpieces; bit to prove but yard in such good form she has to be respected and this sharp track could suit.
